Spectrum Scam is a battle between RSS and Nehru family

It all began when RSS Chief’s close aide Indresh Kumar was named in Ajmer blast case. First when this was broadcast on a national news channel, RSS workers got furious and they vandalised the channel’s premises in Delhi. When, the ruling party and Left  aggressively started criticizing  ‘saffron terror’, the Sangh Parivar seriously thought of retaliating.


Ex-RSS Chief Sudarshan was very much normal and aware when he questioned Sonia Gandhi in the Indira Gandhi assassination conspiracy. It was a well planned move of Sangh Parivar to inject in the mind of people that Sonia’s integrity was doubtful. And do you remember a person called Subramaniyan Swamy?

It is the same Swamy who alleged that Sonia Gandhi has been involved in corruption and her role in Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination is not beyond doubts. The same thing exactly was stated by ex-RSS Chief Sudarshan while staging a protest against ‘Saffron terror’ term used by the Home Minister. Swamy’s article can be read on this site:

Subramaniyam Swamy

Swamy is an old associate of RSS and was first time chosen an MP on a Janasangha ticket, the political outfit of RSS then. He studied and taught at Harvard University, IIT Delhi and was Central Minister during Chandrashekhar regime. Swamy has challenged the legitimacy of Jayalalitha taking oath as CM after her involvement in TANSI land scam. Subsequently she had to resign. He is also fighting a case with ECI, and has alleged that EVMs are fake and can be easily tampered with. He has won initial rounds of battle in lower courts.

It was obvious when Congress decided to target RSS in being involved with bomb blasts and terror activities, the rightwing organisation decided to take this charge head on.

It is also clear that Swamy is a known DMK basher and he has alleged that DMK along with Sonia family was instrumental in assassinating Rajiv Gandhi and that is why Sonia is so close to DMK. This story might be imaginary or false but it raises serious questions as to why Sonia Gandhi or the Government of India did not prosecute Swamy for making such serious charges against her?

It is not a secret that Swamy is doing all this on behalf of  the RSS. In coming days, the political battle is expected to escalate. The current Spectrum Scam is not only a economic fraud, however, this is a political war between RSS and Nehru family at large.

Are We The Best???

We are the best test team in the world (at least we claim it and ICC test ranking says it so as well), but we couldn't win either of the two test matches played so far against the number 8 test team in the world. So either we have become complacent or have lost our aggression. I would like to point out some facts here : the best scorer of the current test series is Harbhajan Singh with two continuous centuries and it indicates the status of our batting in the series. Even on a flat wicket like Hyderabad, where in the second innings, New Zealand not only surpassed the first innings lead by India but also set a target which culminated to a boring draw.

Blue brigade not doing enough to win 

In the current series, only two batsmen have been playing with their potential- Sehwag and Laxman and these players have been shown the consistency in performance as well. But rest of the team is lacking energy or enthusiasm to play cricket for 5 days. Note the number of dropped catches in the second inning of the second test match vs NZ. If you see the composition of our test team, we play with 7 batsmen and 4 bowlers which shows that we are defensive in our attitude as well as lacks confidence in our batting line up. Why can't we play with 5 bowlers in order to add aggression to our team. We must remember that matches are won not only by piling runs but by making the opponents all out. If you can't take 20 wickets, it shows your weakness and in consecutive two tests our number 1 team couldn't all out the number 8 team.

Bhajji has lots or reasons to smile

So are we really worthy of claiming the number one position or are we taking the things too lightly? See the batting average of our captain MS Dhoni, the (once upon a time) wall Dravid, the future of test team Suresh Raina and the very serious Gautam Gambhir. It seems that these players have forgot to play cricket straight and are struggling to keep them alive on the field. Is it fatigue, boredom, inefficiency or complacency? Whatever it is, it must be go away with. Here I would like to add that It has been saying time and again that there is too much cricket happening and the players need rest but our board isn't in the mood to listen to it. Doesn't the lacklusture performance of our team show that most of the players are tired and are not in the position to give their best shots? If cricket is religion then we must protect our deities as well, mustn't we?

It may seem cliche to say that had Facebook been a country, it would have been the third largest populated one in the world but for the largest social networking site, I could not find a better phrase to describe it as of now. But here I am not going to talk about the site, but the film based on it The Social Network. The film depicts the journey of Facebook from its inception to grow into the envious 500 million users' and valued about 15 billion dollars. The film is engaging enough not to divert your attention either to popcorn or to pepsi in your hands in theatre. You can't risk seeing even your friend sitting besides you if you want to enjoy the film. The story is simple that how Marc Zuckerberg conceptualised Facebook in a dorm room in Harvard University while studying undergraduate course, but this very fact was the challenge to make a film entertaining enough to catch the attention of viewers.

' Connect ' soon with The Social Network in theatres

The Social Network is adaptation of the book 'The Accidental Billionaires' by Ben Mezrich and the movie itself is a good example of a boring subject turning into a good to watch film. Directed by David Fincher, the movie's narrative is the thing which keep you engrossed throughout the two hours running time. Generous use of scenes set in the present and flashbacks keep the pace of the film intact. And acting of all the main characters Marc, Eduardo and Winklevoss twins played by Jesie Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Armie Hammer respectively are praiseworthy and believable. Especially Jesie as Marc clearly shows how egoistic, jealous and money minded can you be if you taste the blood of success. The script, dialogue and editing of the film are very tight and the film doesn't leave any loose end to be criticised of (But here I would admit that if the movie is released with subtitles as well, it would be better as in many a scenes, I could not understand the dialogue because of accent of the actors). Though there was no scope for cinematography experiments, in many scenes the camera work enthralls you.

Movie will draw the attention of Facebook users

 Without action and with little romance, it is very tough for any movie to catch the attention of the viewers at later stage as in films like The Social Network, only word of mouth can work. So, if you ask me whether you should go for the movie or not, I would advise you to go but don't expect any high funda hollywood antics. The film is motivational in many senses but at the same time, it leaves you with the feeling that is being the world's youngest billionaire equilvalent to being alone? You may have 500 million fans in your virtual social network, but is any one of them your real social partner? And last but not the least is creating such virtual online revolution to create wealth doing any good for the world at large? My friends, think over these questions and if you really enjoy some serious stuff, log in to THE SOCIAL NETWRORK as soon as poosible. :)

यूपी फिर बेदम, कम जुर्म का भ्रम (आखिरी)

समस्या ये है कि जो भी यूपी का मुख्यमंत्री बना, उसने सिस्टम को अपने हिसाब से चलाया। नई पीढ़ी के लोगों को ये नहीं पता कि प्रदेश का गृह मंत्री कौन है। हम बताते हैं। 1989 में नारायण दत्त तिवारी की सरकार में गोपीनाथ दीक्षित गृह मंत्री थे। उस सरकार के बाद यूपी में गृह मंत्रालय मुख्यमंत्रियों ने अपने पास ही रखा। इस लिस्ट में मुलायम सिंह यादव, कल्याण सिंह, रामप्रकाश गुप्ता, राजनाथ सिंह और मायावती के नाम आते हैं। देश के सबसे बड़े सूबे में अगर कोई होम मिनिस्टर होता है तो उसकी हैसियत मिनी मुख्यमंत्री से कम नहीं होगी, जो अब कोई सीएम बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगा। बात साफ है जो पुलिस का माईबाप,  वो सबका आका। सबने पुलिस को नौकर बना कर रखा। अब हालात ये हैं कि पुलिस वालों ने सुनना ही बंद कर दिया। जब जनता के नुमाइंदे ही गंभीर नहीं हैं तो डंडा फटकारने वाला भला क्यों सुनेगा आपकी? दही को इस कदर मथा कि माठा बन गया जो जड़ों को खोखला कर रहा है।

जनता नहीं नेता की सुरक्षा करती है यूपी पुलिस 

अफसर भी कम जि़म्मेदार नहीं हैं, यूपी के इस हाल के लिए। जब मई 2007 में मायावती ने मुख्यमंत्री की कुर्सी संभाली तो आईपीएस लॉबी में भूचाल आ गया। हर कोई प्रतिनियुक्ति पर केंद्र सरकार के पास जाना चाहता था। कुछ का लगाव मुलायम सिंह यादव से ज्यादा था। कई आईपीएस दिल्ली निकल लिए। प्रदेश में वैसे भी आईपीएस की कमी थी। मायावती ने अपने हिसाब से तबादले किए। अब तो जुर्म पर कान न देने वाले बड़े पुलिस अफसर सीधे मुख्यमंत्री से संपर्क होने की धौंस देते हैं।

बात मई 2005 की है। केंद्र की बेरुखी के कारण सूबे में ज़बरदस्त बिजली किल्लत थी। कानपुर में बीजेपी के विधायक सलिल विश्नोई ने आम लोगों के साथ प्रदर्शन किया। सलिल तत्कालीन एसएसपी रामेंद्र विक्रम सिंह के निशाने पर थे। रामेंद्र ने बिना बात जमकर सलिल की पिटाई की। विधायक कई दिनों तक अस्पताल में पडे़ रहे। लोग कहते हैं कि रामेंद्र के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री मुलायम सिंह से घरेलू ताल्लुकात थे।

अभी लगभग 20-25 दिन पहले राहुल गांधी गोरखपुर से मुंबई जाने वाली ट्रेन में बैठे। इसके पहले वो किराए की गाड़ी करके आराम से रेलवे स्टेशन पहुंचे लेकिन यूपी के खुफियातंत्र को हवा तक नहीं लगी। जो राहुल गांधी से अनजान थे वो अपराधियों-आतंकियों की क्या खुफियागीरी करेंगे। कुछ दिन पहले हुआ लखनऊ का सीएमओ हत्याकांड तो सबसे सनसीखेज़ रहा। कातिल अब तक पुलिस से दूर हैं। तकरीबन छह महीने पहले कानपुर के पॉश इलाके स्वरूप नगर में दो महिलाओं का कत्ल कर दिया गया। महिलाएं पूर्व डीजीपी विक्रम सिंह की रिश्तेदार थीं। केस अब तक उलझा है। 2007 में जब यूपी विधानसभा चुनावों का ऎलान हुआ तो चुनाव आयोग की नज़र डीजीपी बुआ सिंह पर आकर टिकी। बुआ सिंह को हटाया गया। आयोग का कहना था कि उनके रहते निष्पक्ष चुनाव नहीं हो सकते। जिस शख्स पर 20  करोड़ लोगों की हिफाज़त का ज़िम्मा है, उस पर ऐसा लांछन लगे तो सिस्टम की सड़न का पता चल जाता है।

मायावती के आने के बाद यूपी में एक नई हवा बही। फील गुड की। सिर्फ राजधानी में लॉ एंड आर्डर पर बैठक। पूरे प्रदेश से अफसर वहां पहुँचते हैं। वहां क्राइम कम करने के ‘नुस्खे‘ बताये जाते थे। फाइलों को देखकर सब दुरुस्त होने का दावा होता था। बिना रिपोर्ट लिखे अपराध तो कम दिखेंगे ही। अब कुछ बदलाव आया है। कमिश्नरी मुख्यालयों पर बड़े अफसर जाते हैं बैठक करने।

सर्वजन हिताय सर्वजन सुखाय ???

चित्रकूट में डेढ़ साल पहले एक डकैत ने तीन दिन तक यूपी पुलिस को उलझाए रखा था। चंबल के बीहड़ों में डकैतों को मारने के अलावा आम लोगों को पुलिस ने कभी कोई राहत नहीं दी। इटावा-औरैया और यमुनापार के इलाके में तो अब तक ज़बरदस्त पकड़ (अपहरण) होती है और पुलिस बैठी रहती है। सैकड़ों मामले थाने ही नहीं पहुंचते। अपराध आटोमेटिक कम हो जाता है। महिलाओं से छेड़छाड़ के मामलों में पुलिस 14 फीसदी कमी का दावा कर रही है। चेन स्नेचिंग तो यूपी के बड़े शहरों में एक नया रोज़गार है। कभी-कभार कोई चेन स्नेचर पकड़ा जाता है तो उससे सैकड़ों चेनें बरामद होती हैं। हां,  पुलिस का एक और दावा है,  दलितों के खिलाफ अपराध कम होने का।

यूपी की जेलें तो अपराधियों के लिए फाइव स्टार होटल से कम नहीं हैं। वहां बंद नेताओं से लेकर जेबकतरों तक को हर सुविधा मिल सकती है। बशर्ते उसकी कीमत चुकाई जाए। जब भी जेलों पर छापे की रस्म होती है तो मोबाइल, लाइटर, चरस, ब्लेड जैसी चीज़ें आसानी से मिल जाती हैं। कई बार तो काजू-किशमिश भी मिले नेताओं और अपराधियों के बैरक से।

मार्च 2010 में तबादले ‘ पूरे ‘ करने के बाद यूपी सरकार ने ऎलान किया कि अब तबादले नहीं होंगे। तबादला नीति बनाई गई। साथ में जोड़ा गया कि मुख्यमंत्री आपात स्थितियों में तबादले को आज़ाद हैं। तब से अब तक न जाने कितनी बार पुलिस वाले थोक में इधर-उधर हुए। अब तो सूबे में कई ऎसे इंस्पेक्टर-एसएचओ हैं, जिनका विधायक-मंत्री तक कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकते। वजह,  उनके सीधे संबंध।

ऎसा नहीं है कि यूपी पुलिस 100 फीसदी काहिल हो गई है। प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ से लेकर सूबे के बाकी हिस्सों में कई बड़े आतंकवादी एटीएस ने पकड़े। स्लीपर सेल खोज निकाले। खतरा बढ़ता देख एटीएस में प्रदेश सरकार ने चुनिंदा जांबाज़ अफसरों को रखा। इसका नतीजा ये रहा कि यूपी में बीते दो-तीन सालों में कोई बड़ी आतंकी वारदात नहीं हुई। बात साफ है कि अगर सरकार और उसके कारिंदे ठान लें तो पत्थर से पानी निकालने में भी वक्त नहीं लगेगा। आज भी टीवी पर यूपी पुलिस की ज्यादती के सीन चल रहे हैं। देख कर सोचियेगा एक बार... ।
